The most influential man in horror?

When it comes to modern zombies at least, it has to be George Romero. From his classic Night of the Living Dead to Dawn of the Dead to Day of the Dead to Land of the Dead to Diary of the Dead, and of course, 2009’s Survival of the Dead, Romero has mastered the art of the zombie flick.

The first installment came out in 1968. Romero didn’t just work on “…of the Dead” titles, though. He was also involved in 1982’s Creepshow, which led me to create the Super Veteran card below (based on the subset from the 1983 Topps set)…
