R.I.P. Edward Hermann

(July 21, 1943 – December 31, 2014)

Best known to horror fans as Max, the leader of the Santa Clara vampire clan in The Lost Boys, Edward Hermann lost his battle with brain cancer on December 31.

I’m Edgar Frog, surfboard shaper and vampire hunter.

I will admit it. I was a little apprehensive to watch Lost Boys: The Tribe. I had heard so many negative comments (see also and also) about the sequel to the 1987 classic, that I didn’t really want to ruin the memory of that movie. Boy, am I glad I was more curious than I was apprehensive! Spoilers after the page break…
