A first-round draft pick for the Minnesota Twins in 1980, Jeff Reed spent most of his career as a backup catcher. He was a dependable backstop, though, playing 17 years in the big leagues. While in Cincinnati, Reed caught Tom Browning‘s perfect game in 1988 on Bo Diaz‘s day off.
