My bias against Nick Masset dates back to July 31, 2008. It’s nothing personal, and he was actually better statistically than I remember. But he was the player the Reds received for Ken Griffey Jr., cementing Masset as a career-long “I don’t like that guy.” I groaned every time he was brought into a game for the Reds, even after I forgot why I didn’t like him.
