Happy Reds birthday, Felipe Lopez!

May 12, 1980

Felipe Lopez was a first-round draft pick for the Blue Jays, part of a four-team trade four years later, and became an All-Star for the Reds in 2005. Batting .291, Lopez hit 23 home runs and drove in 85 runs for the Reds in 2005. He only reached double-digits in homers one other time in his 11-year career, hitting 11 in 2006 while splitting time between the Reds and the Nationals.
