Happy Reds birthday, Milt Pappas!


May 11, 1939

Milt Pappas was a part of the worst trade in Cincinnati Reds history; Baltimore traded the right-handed hurler along with Jack Baldschun and Dick Simpson for one of the greatest rightfielders in history, Frank Robinson. In three years with the Reds, Pappas went 30-29 with a 4.04 record.
