Happy Reds birthday, Luke Hudson!

May 2, 1977

Luke Hudson was a 5th round draft pick for the Baltimore Orioles coming out of high school in 1995, but he decided to further his education at the University of Tennessee. In 1998, the Rockies made him a 4th round pick. The Volunteers’ most famous and most successful baseball player was also a Rockies draft pick: Todd Helton, a first rounder in 1995.
