Happy Reds birthday, Doug Flynn!

April 18, 1951

One of the first baseball autographs I ever received was from Doug Flynn. In the 1980s, Flynn headed up the anti-drug program in Kentucky and was included in a trading card set made for the program. In addition to a “Champions Against Drugs” card (which unfortunately showed Flynn as a Met instead of a Red), he also signed his 1984 Topps card for me. He is currently a broadcaster for the Reds.
