Happy Reds birthday, Tim Fortugno!


April 11, 1962

When Tim Fortugno arrived in Cincinnati in 1994, he was told he would only be staying for six days. He ended up staying for three months, until the season ended with the player strike. The story of Fortugno’s journey to the major leagues is a very long and interesting one, and Bleacher Report wrote a great piece on his trek.
