Happy Reds birthday, Yonder Alonso!

April 8, 1987

According to his page at baseball-reference.com, Yonder Alonso exceeded rookie limits during his time with the Reds in 2011. Yet, in 2012, one BBWAA voter listed the first baseman on a Rookie of the Year ballot. I wonder how many times that has happened. I know that Edinson Volquez received a few votes in 2008, despite his rookie status expiring the previous season. Should such ballots be disqualified altogether?
