Happy Reds birthday, Jimmie Schaffer!


April 5, 1936

Jimmie Schaffer only played four games for the Cincinnati Reds, but that was enough to warrant a Reds card in the 1968 Topps set. His lone Reds hit came off Pittsburg reliever Ron Kline in an 8-5 loss to the Bucs.
