April 3, 1987

A first-round pick in 2005, Jay Bruce has hit at least 20 home runs in each of his big league seasons, except 2014. The right fielder’s 241 career home runs rank him 20th among active players. The Reds dumped his contract in August last year, trading the two-time Silver Slugging All-Star to the Mets for Dilson Herrera and minor leaguer Max Wotell.
