Happy Reds birthday, Ed Sicking!

March 30, 1897

Ed Sicking took quite a break between major league appearances. His debut came in 1916 for the Cubs, then he went to the Giants in 1918. After bouncing around a bit, he landed in Cincinnati in 1920. He appeared in 37 games for the Redlegs, but did not make another major league appearance until 1927 with the Pirates. He spent 1921-1926 in the American Association with the Indianapolis Indians.
