Happy Reds birthday, Larry Rothschild!


March 12, 1954

Larry Rothschild’s major league playing career only lasted seven games, but has stayed in the big leagues as a coach or manager since 1986. In 1990, he served as bullpen coach and received a World Series ring with the Reds. He has also coached for the Braves, Marlins, and Cubs, managed the Devil Rays, and has been the pitching coach for the Yankees since 2011.
