Wright

January 10, 1835

Harry Wright was the manager and centerfielder for the first openly all-professional baseball team, the 1869 Cincinnati Red Stockings. Wright was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1952, but the Reds did not induct him (or his brother George Wright) into the team’s Hall until 2005.
