2016 TWJ pre-season baseball cards are here!

I know you have been waiting with bated breath, anxious to see the all-new 2016 TWJ cards. The “base” cards will begin appearing on Opening Day at TWJ cards on tumblr. In the meantime, we are releasing a special, limited-edition “pre-season” set, featuring several All-Stars throughout the history of baseball! Each day, at least one new card will be posted at 8 pm (Eastern time) at TWJ cards on tumblr. Starting…now. Wanna bet who is on the first 2016 TWJ pre-season card? (click “more” below to find out!)

Pete Rose

Pete Rose, who will be inducted into the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame this summer, was selected to an astonishing 17 All-Star Games during his 24-year career, starting in eight of those contests! Charlie Hustle almost never failed to disappoint on the diamond, but in the midsummer classic he struggled with a .212 batting average in 33 at-bats. He is remembered, however, for his all-out determination to win even the exhibition game.

If you haven’t already picked up a copy of Heard but not Seen by Denny Dressman, released last May, I would highly recommend it.

Who would you like to see in the 2016 TWJ pre-season set? The only requirement is that they were selected to at least one All-Star Game during their MLB career. Feel free to leave a comment here, e-mail me, Tweet me, or send a message via tumblr. Only a select few cards will be featured on this site, so be sure to follow TWJ cards on tumblr and don’t miss a single one!
