Vampire Legends: Dominic Cooper and Marton Csokas (Countdown to Halloween)

Dominic Cooper

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter was an epic “biographical action horror mash-up” by Seth Grahame-Smith, released in 2010. The film, released in 2012, was a major disappointment. I rewatched it a few months ago to make sure that my initial opinion still held, and yeah, it’s still a major disappointment. Benjamin Walker did a pretty good job playing the axe-wielding, pre-President, vampire-slaying Lincoln. But there was just something missing from the film, the sense of, “Yeah, this could have really happened,” that was present in the book.

Marton Csokas

There were several vampires that could have been included in the “Vampire Legends” set, but I decided to stick with the two that got the most screentime: Dominic Cooper, who as Henry Sturges was Lincoln’s mentor, and Marton Csokas, who played one of Lincoln’s long-time vampiric nemesis, Jack Barts. And we have our first error card as well, with Csokas’ first name misspelled.
