2015 Reds, 1990 Score style: Marlon Byrd (Superst☆r)

Mixing it up a little bit with the “Superst☆r” set from 1990 Score today. I don’t remember how these were offered, if they were inserts in rack packs or sold as complete sets. Marlon Byrd will either be the savior or the scapegoat in 2015, and that’s not his doing. Management decided to deal away two starting pitchers without getting much in return, but stepped up by making a trade with Philadelphia for a strong left fielder. He is signed through 2015 with a vesting option for 2016.

I hope, along with every Reds fan in the world, that Byrd is able to produce like he has the past two years, and that the injury bug that has plagued so many key players stays away from the Reds in 2015.
