TWJ 2012: Pete Rose

On September 11, 1985, the world thought it witnessed Pete Rose become the all-time hits leader. The world was wrong.

Rose is still a legend in Cincinnati, despite his gambling woes and legal struggles. Should he be in the Hall of Fame? I still say yes, even though I would deny entry to the steroid users of the 1990s and beyond. I believe the issues are apples and oranges, not as linked together as some claim.
