The greatest baseball movie of all-time

Quick…name the greatest baseball movie of all-time!

What popped into your mind? Field of Dreams? Bull Durham? The Natural? Or perhaps you went the comedy route and picked Major League, Brewster’s Millions or The Bad News Bears (the original version, of course, with Walter Matthau…not Billy Bob Thornton).

It doesn’t matter which of the above movies you chose. As great as all of those movies are, you would be wrong to call any of them the greatest baseball movie of all-time. You see, the greatest baseball movie of all time is The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars and Motor Kings. Please tell me you have watched it, and that you have as much appreciation for this wonderful baseball movie as I do.

Bingo Long

With stars such as Lando Calrissian Billy Dee Williams, Darth Vader James Earl Jones, and Montgomery Brewster Richard Pryor, how could you go wrong?

The movie is now available for instant viewing via Netflix’s streaming service. I’ve had it on my radar for a while, but somehow it became available to watch instantly without me noticing. I found it while adding The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training to my queue, and got so excited that I almost spilled my orange pop on the keyboard.

Have you watched Bingo Long lately? If not, give it a go!
