Game 40

The Cardinals scored 5 runs in the top of the 9th, but the Reds offense had built quite a cushion for the bullpen. Aroldis Chapman continues to struggle, allowing 4 of those runs while only getting one out. Catcher Ramon Hernandez hit his third home run in two days.

  1. I hope Chappie and the Reds pitching coaches can figure out what’s going on quickly and correct it twice as fast. That’s what, seven walks in his last 1/3 of an inning. Not exactly a reliable cog at this point…
