2011 Fan Pack Challenge: Arizona Diamondbacks

After a little bit of a drought on the fan pack front, the Arizona Diamondbacks came through today…sort of. This was a difficult one to judge because of the way it was packaged. It was more of a fan booklet than a fan pack. There was no pocket schedule, and actually no schedule in the booklet either. I may write them back to request just a schedule.

The booklet is kind of neat, so I went ahead and gave them 2 points. there are some player profiles, a mini poster of the mascot that can be removed from the booklet, coloring pages, crossword puzzles, etc. But it’s not just a photocopied pack of papers, this is something that they sent off to the printers to have made, thus the 2 points. But there was nothing else in the envelope, which was a little disappointing. I love pocket schedules and stickers.

Here’s their score:
The inclusion of pocket schedule(s) = 0 points
Stickers = 0
Baseball cards = 0
High-quality promotional items = 2
Other stuff = 0
Timeliness = 8 points
TOTAL SCORE = 10 POINTS

  1. It’s weird, but that’s exactly the way I decided to score it when mine came today. I should be able to catch up on posting by Thursday–I’ve got quite a few that I’ve neglected to post.
