2011 Reds (’92 Style): Eric Davis

One of the most exciting players of the late 1980s, Eric Davis, is hanging out in Arizona this spring giving pointers to the current crop of Cincy athletes. I always enjoyed watching Davis roam centerfield for Pete Rose‘s Reds back in the day. Like Grifffey (featured a few days ago), Davis appeared in the actual 1992 set as a player.

  1. The original 92 is a classic. Oversized hat, vest, gold chain!

Eric looks like he could still play. Maybe platoon with Votto at 1B? ;o)

  2. I thought the same thing as the poster above. Eric looks like he could still play

  3. I would absolutely support Eric Davis’ unretirement.
