Lack of blogging = good news for me

I’ve spent the last couple of days actually working on my novel. Not writing anything new, but doing research.

I watched the original Salem’s Lot and checked out a book entitled Vampires, Werewolves & Demons: Twentieth Century Reports in the Psychiatric Literature by Richard Noll. The book is interesting so far, and I’ve only begun to dig into the introduction. Not sure at this point if I will get into the latter two parts of the book, but I definitely plan on studying the section on vampires in depth as I further develop the characters in my own novel.

On a non-novel note, I’ve been kicking myself for not sticking around long enough to see the very end of Iron Man, the part after all the credits have finished. If you are like me, and you missed the surprise ending, miss no more…

(Warning: spoiler alert if you haven’t already seen the movie…)

The clip may not last long, so watch it while you can.

I’m sure most are aware that Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) makes a cameo in the new Incredible Hulk movie as well, but did you know that Bill Bixby also makes an appearance? That’s right, the late Bixby is shown within the first 5 minutes of the movie, so keep your eyes peeled for that. I haven’t seen the movie yet, will probably go on Monday or Tuesday to watch it. Anyone have any comments on it? Good? Bad? Indifferent?

  1. congrats on working on the novel. I have been working on one myself for a couple of years now. Guess I should really get on that huh??? LOL

  2. If you find the time, do it. And let me know where you found that elusive time. I seem to always find a way to distract myself from putting pen to paper (or, in the modern age, fingers to keys, might be more appropriate).

This is where you talk...
