I watched an Endeverafter concert on Deep Rock Drive Friday night. This was the first time I’ve actually sat through a full concert at the computer. It was an okay show, but the video and audio were a little jumpy. One of the survey questions after the show was, “Would this be worth $6.99?” The answer is a resounding no. As much as I love concerts and as much as I enjoy Endeverafter, paying for something like this is just ridiculous, especially with the quality as iffy as it was. Had it been DVD-quality, then maybe. But even then, with YouTube and DailyMotion and Google Videos, et al., asking someone to pay for it is a little much.
Disturbed is playing next week. I’ve never seen them live (I’ve seen Endeverafter twice). While I probably wouldn’t sit through another computer-concert for EEA (even though I would gladly go see them again in person), I will probably watch the Disturbed show (if I remember it) because I wouldn’t want to pay for their concert.
