Last year, I was jealous of a blogger who received a ton of stuff from the BoSox. That blog has disappeared, but the memory of him receiving Fenway dirt while I only got a stinking schedule still stings. Or at least it did until today. Yes, the Red Sox made up for their oversight last year and sent me some Fenway dirt (pictured below). Pretty cool, huh? And all it took was a single e-mail requesting a fan pack. Not only that, the Sox also sent a pocket schedule and an oversized David Ortiz card (which will soon be making its way overseas to a Red Sox fan in the motherland).
