Fun Cards of the All-Stars

Way back before the season began, Mike from Awesomely Bad Wax Packs approached me with the idea of producing a set of fun cards for the baseball card blogging community. Due to my apathy and inability to complete anything I start, it didn’t go very far. However, I did finish some cards.

Here are the cards of some of the players who made the 2008 MLB All-Star Game (click on thumbnails for larger images)…

  1. These are awesome!!!

    Favorites:

    - Utley

    - Kosuke — The font you used bears a strong resemblance to the actual set. Even the style of photo you used is spot on (full body action shot). Very well done.

    - ARod — Very iconic looking

    - Corey Hart — Like Kosuke, this card looks very true to form

    - Adrian Gonzalez — Just flat out awesome that you did a KMart card, that’s all I have to say

    - Carlos Marmol — also very good and true to form, with the limbs sitting on the wide gradient stripe

Have really enjoyed going through these. I’ll need to get a link added to these shortly!
